Meet George! We had to give him a name. He has been in Waterford pound for a long time now and he really needs out. He came in in poor condition and although he is eating well and has gained some condition, he is still very thin. He is just a baby, maybe 9-12 months and the pound is no place for such a youngster. He is frustrated in kennels and is continually overlooked as he barks when people come to see him but is good as gold when you get him out to yard. He is just frustrated at being confined....and who would blame him as he has been there way too long already. He is a dog that not much has been done with and would benefit from basic training but he is super smart and very food motivated....will sit for treats etc....This guy has heaps of potential and just needs some help along the way. He needs either a rescue space with another rescue or if anyone with experience of large breeds was interested in fostering him for us then please go to www.adogslife.ie and fill out foster form. ...
