A Dogs Life

My name is Kevin (aka Beau) and I am a 2-3 year old lurcher male. I was in terrible condition when I came into the pound but am now fully recovered. I love people and am good with other dogs. I am getting used to having regular walks on lead and life in the house. I am a good eater - I love my grub. I am house trained and crate trained and am looking for a home either as an only dog or with another dog or two for company. I am learning about toys and enjoy a play. No cats please though......I would like to chase those guys.

I am neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. If you think that you can offer the loving home I deserve please go to www.adogslife.ie and fill out adoption form.

A Dogs Life

My name is Sophie and I am a 12 week old lurcher female. I am a sweet little lady and my foster mum says I am gorgeous. I am crate trained and doing really well with house training - I am very clever :). I am playful but a little timid of new things/people initially. I am good with other dogs and will happily play with my foster brother and sister and then snuggle up on their beds afterwards. I love snuggles and will happily sleep on your knee or fall asleep on your chest too.

I am a typical full of beans pup but I crash out when I run out of steam. I am very smart and would probably do well with training classes once I go to my forever home.

I am fully vaccinated and microchipped and neutering, when I am old enough, will be part of my adoption agreement. If you think you can offer me the loving forever home I deserve please go to www.adogslife.ie and fill out adoption form.

A Dogs Life

With the greatest of pleasure, I would like to announce that the A Dog's Life 2018 calendar - featuring dogs rehomed by us in the last year or so (all of which came to us from Waterford City & County Dog Shelter) - is now on sale for just €5 at the following locations:

Moss Veterinary Hospital
Animals First
Beaufield Veterinary Centre
Hermitage Vets Lucan
Palmerstown Veterinary Hospital
Carton Vets Maynooth
O'Dwyer & Jones Veterinary Clinics - Maynooth, Edenderry, Clane
Nutgrove Veterinary Hospital
Vetcare Rathcoole
Firhouse Vets
Thomastown Veterinary Clinic
Joe Moffatt Vets New Ross, Co. Wexford
The Post Office, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny

In addition we also have fabulous Christmas cards on sale (pack of 8, featuring two of four different images for €5 a pack), also featuring dogs rehomed by A Dog's life. None of this would have been possible without a huge collaborative effort which begins with Michele Rossini from Meath Coast Dog Photography who took almost all of the photographs, all of the rehomed dogs and their fab owners for co-operating with photoshoots, Johnswwod press for printing, Deirdre Errity (owner of one of our dogs) for designing posters and all of our calendar sponsors who made production of calendars and cards possible and ensured that all funds raised go directly to helping pound dogs. Our 2018 calendar sponsors were as follows:

www.orlando4ever.com (Florida)
www.clevercompanions.ie (Dublin)
www.crittercapers.biz (Celbridge)
www.fido.ie (Naas)
www.mossveterinaryhospital.ie (Naas)
RTC Surveying (Naas)
Breda Rogers (Dublin)
www.aliramseydogtrainer.ie (Dublin)
www.peryanvegan.com (Wicklow)
Animals First Veterinary Hospital, Kilcullen
www.anied.ie (Dublin)
Amanda Mooney Horse Trainer (Meath)

I have to say we LOVE calendar time as we get to see in print some of the fab dogs we have homed in Ireland....but better still....by featuring in the calendar, those dogs are helping to raise funds to help other dogs in need.....like they once were :)

NOTE: Calendars and cards should be available to purchase online during the week: watch this space :)
