In rescue there is often lots of bad news and obstacles to be overcome.......here's some good news and a job well done! Thank you as always Moss Veterinary HospitalThe little guy on the left in this picture is Paddy, Paddy is a stray that was hit by a car on Friday. He needed emergency care and surgery, our team rallied around him and performed a diaphragmatic hernia repair. A big surgery for such a little guy, Paddy is only 12 weeks old. and was taken under the care of the amazing charity A Dog's Life. The surgery went very well, and we all just prayed his recovery would be easy on him, and luckily it was, he was giving kisses a few hours post op! We are thrilled, this is Paddy visiting Bonnie feeling very good indeed. Laura (one of the nurses here) went above and beyond to ensure Paddy was as happy as he could be, and Bonnie doesnt seem to mind either :) A shoutout to our amazing surgeons, our nursing team and Martina (A dog's life) that made all of this possible. Happy healing Paddy- it's been great to have you ❤️❤️ ... See MoreSee Less
Yes your eyes do not deceive you - I am that handsome. Please share so I can find my forever home.My name is Baxter and I am a medium sized terrier mix boy. When I came into the pound I was desperately matted but since coming into the care of A Dog's Life I have had a much needed groom and everyone can see how super handsome I am now - which I ma very happy about.
I am a little guy with a big personality and I am extremely clever, if I do say so myself. In the house I am very calm and affectionate. I am fully house trained and crate trained, - get my Kong going to bed at night and am delighted with that and I settle easily. I travel ok in the car once in my crate. I am still a little strong on lead but learning fast and getting better all the time - my new family will need to continue with lead training. I am good with other dogs but currently in foster as an only dog. I am not a fan of cats and would like to chase those guys.
I can go to a home with older kids (10+ or teenagers). I am neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. If you think you can offer me the forever home I deserve please go to www.adogslife.ie and fill out adoption form. ... See MoreSee Less
