• Romi

My name is Romi and I am a very special girl – or so everyone tells me. I am looking for a special home. I was in the pound for ages because nobody seemed to want me. Eventually A Dogs Life found me a lovely foster home where I am thriving. The reason I am so special (apart from the obvious stunning good looks and brains) is that I was born with deformed joints. I am only about 3 years old. I get around quite well and mostly it does not bother – I am on long term pain meds. My foster mum says that I am such an amazing dog. I am placid and friendly to everyone and so affectionate. My foster mum says that I am so special -“it’s like she has been here for a 100 years and has such wisdom, then suddenly she is all playful like a puppy”.

Everyone who meets me loves me. I am very happy to lie in the garden, soaking up the sun, hiding in the shade when its too hot, sniffing the grass and smelling everywhere. I also love going for walks – I love to be outdoors. I am looking for a quiet home where I can live in comfort. I am great with other dogs so I am happy to go to a home with dog pals and I have been great with any children I have met so can go to a home with older kids. I am house trained and good in the car and on lead. Although I am on medication for my joints A Dog’s Life are happy to look after my medication for this once I go to a new home and are not looking for a rehoming fee for me – just that special, kind person who will love me forever.

I am neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. If you think you can offer me the forever home I deserve please click on Adopt a Dog and fill out adoption form.
